Please do not leave trash on the ground before the dumpsters arrive or after they are removed. Yellow reycling bins are available at Gubler Park.
Washington County Solid Waste
Curbside Trash & Recycling: Click here to find your schedule, as well as information on where to dispose of different types of waste.
Bulk Item Removal: Bulky items are defined as “household appliances, furniture, Christmas trees, bicycles, toys, and tree limbs (less than 6 feet in length and less than 6 inches in diameter bundled).” If you would like your appliances or other larger items removed from your home, please call Republic Services (435) 628-2821 to schedule a Bulky Item Pick-up. All items that qualify as Bulky items, except for those with freon, will be removed at no charge.
Household Hazardous Waste: Chemical products in your home are deemed Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) once they are no longer in use or have passed their expiration date. The potential for their ignitability and toxicity make them hazardous to us and those around us. HHW is not regulated by the Utah Department of Environmental Quality or the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which is why the Washington County Solid Waste District has taken a proactive approach in seeing that the residents of Washington County have a method to properly dispose of their hazardous materials. Household Hazardous Waste Collection Days for 2022 are on April 16, 2022 and October 15, 2022 from 8:00-12:45 at the Landfill. For more information visit: https://wcsw.org/household-hazardous-waste/
